Vinyasa

Vinyasa yoga creates a connection between your breath and your body - as you take an inhale, you'll move into one posture and as you take an exhale, you move into a different posture. This connection creates a flow-like workout for your whole body. Expect to build up some heat and a little sweat! Some previous yoga experience is best before taking this class.

Hatha

Hatha yoga focuses on holding postures for an extended period of time (average of about 3-5 breath cycles). This style of yoga creates awareness in the body's muscle engagement and skeletal slignment. Transitions between postures will be slower than Vinyasa yoga, but still expect to build up some heat! Great for beginners, and seasoned yogis who want to deepen their practice.

Restorative

Slow Flow and Yin yoga are the best styles to take when you need a more restorative practice. In Slow Flow classes, we will move through postures with intention, taking time to savor each transiton; stretching will be a main focus throughout the flow. Yin yoga uses the support of gravity and time to increase flexibility in the physical body. In each posture, we will stay for a minimum of 10 breath cycles, supported by props like blocks, blankets, and/or pillows. These are great styles for beginner yogis and yogis looking to combat stress and tension.
